In the 3D Editor
On iPhone and iPad: Long press anywhere in the design area to open the contextual menu, then select "Add Lumber."
On Mac: Right-click in the design space to reveal the contextual menu, then choose "Add Lumber."
Once selected, you'll be prompted to choose between different types of lumber:
Lumber Boards or Sheets: A list of common lumber sizes, similar to those you’d find in a hardware store, will appear. Choose the size that most closely matches your requirements. Don't worry if it's not an exact match—after adding the lumber, you can easily edit its dimensions to suit your project perfectly.
In the 2D Editor
Simply tap the Add (Plus Icon) button located on the toolbar.
Select your lumber type (boards or sheets) from the list of common sizes.
Again, choose the size that is closest to your desired requirements, and then adjust it if needed using the editing tools.
Using this method, you can quickly add new pieces of lumber to your design and then fine-tune the dimensions later, ensuring your project stays precise and adaptable as your design evolves.
